I have had mixed feelings over the years with oreo's - Our family (PA, TRNA) sticks with the regular bag - regular size. My feeling is that they probelby have to run enough of these that they have their own line - I'm sure there is a x-contamination issue with all of the different "special" oreos they make. We don't buy them often - but if we do we stick to the normal ones. I also think we have a busy gardian angel.

We eat the Chocolate/chocolate inside ones on a daily basis.

Yes, we have had regular and double stuffed. But we check each time we purchase due to some of the special ones (at least in the past) having peanut flour (like the Mint).

I called Nabisco about this a year or two ago. The regular and the chocolate creme do not have any cross contamination with peanuts. I am not sure about the others as I did not ask.

We let our PA son eat the regulars, the double stuffs and the chocolate/chocolate ones all the time (that is if he can get to them before I do!).

We eat the regular, Uh-Oh, and vanilla (golden) Oreos all the time. My comfort level with anything Nabisco is pretty high. I have called them *numerous* times, and have been satisfied with their answers.

I use to buy them but dh and sister eat them on everybody so what's the point?
I find them ok if frozen but just at room temp. they don't turn me on. Thank goodness since I can be a ravenous fiend when it comes to yummy treats
I feel safe that only the reg. ones are made on the same lines all the time. Otherwise they would label for cross-contamination.
I have never had a problem with Nabisco so I would allow my pa son to accept one, at my sisters

We eat the regular, double stuff and chocolate Oreos all the time. We don't go near the kind that has two kinds of filling though, since they make a PB-chocolate flavour (I think these are all labelled that they have traces of peanuts anyway).
