What do you think?

Do you guys really believe there will be a cure for PA in the future??? I hope and pray there will be everyday. I just wonder if it's all talk. And if it does happen, I wonder if the cure will be covered under insurance or if we'll have to pay thousands of dollars. So, what are your thoughts on this??

I think there will be better preventative treatments but not a cure in the immediate future. I think our children will not have to be so scared of anaphylaxis possibly within the next several years - due to something akin to allergy shots for environmental allergies. But a cure? Not very soon. We are at a critical worldwide societal point - will we blow ourselves back to the stone age or advance scientifically, etc? It's a race. I think we are too PC to survive, and violence and chaos will be allowed to take over. Optimism is not my strong suit...

My thoughts are the same as Jason's.

Best wishes!

Well, you can probably add me to that club, too. (With Jason and CSC)

There's a lot of research, that's for sure... but I don't really think any of it is going to present a viable "cure" anytime soon.

I am really just hoping for some treatment that would make small amounts harmless. Not so much that someone can eat a peanut, but more that a minute amount, the amount from an accidental exposure, would not be dangerous.
