Hi Swede13 - Welcome to the board. I would recommend that you go to the SNACKS, RECIPES, ETC. thread, and scroll right to the bottom of the page. Chris (PeanutAllergy.com) has a posting there called LIST OF PEANUT/NUT FREE FOODS. It is an excellent article on why there is no such list, because manufacturers change their ingredients lists all the time. Such a list might be fine for a few years, but if the manufacturer decides to add peanut oil to a formerly safe product, the list becomes out of date, and dangerous.
Just take the time to read the ingredients in the products you presently buy - they MUST declare it on the label if it contains peanut products. Hydrolized Plant Protein (HPP) or Hydrolized Vegetable Protein (HVP) may be from a peanut plant - so stay away from products that list it in their ingredients. You just have to get into the habit of reading ingredients on everything you eat, all the time, to stay safe. Good luck.
