thanks. i have found sesame on a chicken nugget and last week we got two burgers and one had a seed on it or what looked like seed. i check both sides of buns but something could be hidden under ketchup.
so kids with sesame allergy have eaten the nuggets but not the burger. i didnt check all the different chickens for ingredients. i know they share a fryer.
Eat it WAY too often So, love it.
hi. good post. my PA, TNA, sesame son hasnt had this since diagnosis. i understand the chicken nuggets and frostys are safe? does everyone eat these?
Yes, DD used to eat both nuggets, oranges, and frosties and also baked potatoes there VERY often (at least once a week)... until she experienced a pretty major reaction. We think it was a smudge of mayonnaise on something. She refuses to eat the nuggets or oranges ever again. (She's 6.) I have gotten her a baked potato when we are really desperate, but she isn't happy about it.
I think it is fine for PA... we have never seen anything to indicate that it wouldn't be. But fast food is risky because of the tight quarters. We couldn't do them at all now because of a re-emergent dairy "issue" anyway. (So glad I got a good ice-cream freezer...)
HTH
Dont eat it.
It's bad for you, silly.
Get more fruits/veggies...
Of course, if we had NO FA's, we'd eat there 3x/day 7 days/week
OK. We wouldnt.
What's the Q?
Good for you/bad for you? Or PA aware?

Just that my 3-1/2 year old PA, TNA, sesame allergic girl has NEVER taken a bite of fast food. I'm in no rush to get her in on the fun of fast food but she's starting to realize that she's missing something I think.
Not a big deal, we don't go and certainly won't if there is the slightest concern!
Didn't see this mentioned, though I may have missed it -- I seem to recall recently seeing that some Wendy's in Texas have some kind of a butterfinger topping for frosty?

the butterfinger and oreo mix-ins are in a packet and get mixed by the customer
*sigh* I hear ya Jason!
We really liked that DD could get a kids meal like any other kid. Nuggets, and oranges, with a drink ... and a TOY!!!! The most nutritous part of any fast food meal.
A little bitter that our good thing had to come to an end, but oh well...I'm better off without the Frosty. I'm strong enough NOT to need the Frosty. Repeat.
Does Wendy's use sesame in anything but the one salad dressing packet?
