Hi, everyone.

This site has really changed. It was always great, but now there's so much more.

I was a member of back in 1999, possibly a bit earlier. Screen name was 'Anna', for those who were also here.

This site was really instrumental for me and motivated me to become even more involved in the allergy community. So, I started an anaphylaxis support group.

I now have a child and she's beginning to show signs of allergy. But at least there's community out there! Good to be back.

Welcome back and congrats on starting your support group.
Sorry to hear that your daughter is showing signs of allergies.
I look forward to looking through your website and reading your comments and posts!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome! :)
The support group has been in existence since 2003, in fact. The website in my signature file is more recent.
My daughter's symptoms aren't a surprise, given the atopic family history. But we still hope that she won't be allergic to any foods.
I myself have multiple food allergies -- peanut, tree nut, sesame, egg, and several others. Medication and environmental allergies as well.
I'm also looking forward to checking out your site. What a great directory!
