Hi we are 2 high school students on long island who are hosting a golf outing on May 21,2007 to raise money for food allergy research. FAAN is sponsoring us, but in order to have a successful fundraiser we need golfers. Anyone interested in supporting please email ourprevdog@yahoo.com and we will gladly send you a brochure. Thank You!!!

I think it's great that you're raising money for food allergies!!
Have you contacted Food Allergy Initiative?
They're based in New York and probably have more local connections.
Keep us posted!

Thanks for your response, but FAAN is sponsoring our event, so we can't ask the food initiative for their support.

Have you reached out to local allergists? Maybe they can steer you towards some support groups in the area who could help you find golfers. Or maybe you can search the "support groups" forums on peanutallergy.com and see who may be local. You could change your message heading to say "Long Island" so you can be sure the right people look, because there are people from all over the world that log in here.
