Event Location: Mercer Island Fire Station

I'm a stay at home Mom with two young daughters. My 3 yr old has allergies to peanuts, eggs, and food dye's. Our 18 month old is sensitive to soy. Our family would like to know if there is anyone in our area (Mill Creek or beyond) that we could start a play group with. I am also a great sitter.
Email us at LBowen2@aol.com to set up a time/place to meet.

***Next Food Allergy Support Team Meeting***
This is a strictly social event, with lots of opportunity to chat with
one another about allergies and anything else that takes your fancy. I
hope we'll see both new faces and some we haven't seen in awhile--come
have some fun and try some new foods!
What: FEAST Holiday Party
When: Tuesday, December 3rd, 7- 9 p.m.
Where: Mercer Island Fire Station, 3030 78th Ave. SE
Who: FEAST members and s.o.'s. Sorry, no children other than
babes-in-arms. (We may have an event including children in the future,
but would like to have a successful event with adults first.) We will
invite the firemen to join us if they can.
What to bring:
Your favorite holiday dish, or something you've been wanting to try
from an allergy cookbook. We have two requests:
- First, NO NUTS (INCLUDING PEANUTS), FISH, OR SHELLFISH.
- Second, PLEASE PROVIDE A DETAILED INGREDIENT LIST, so that those who
are allergic can decide whether they want to take a chance on eating
your dish. If you'd like to share your recipe with others, please
bring extra copies or post it on the Yahoo group.
