I am asking for all those who read this to call or write Wal-Mart. This year their Super Centers have a 8 to 12 foot display of loose nuts located in the front main isle as you enter the food side of the store. I have a child that has a life-threating allergy to ALL nuts. She can not go into Wal-Mart now. I not only fear for her but every child out there that has this allergy and their parents haven't found out yet. What a way to find out.....go shopping at Wal-mart. I have ask'd them if there is any way they would move the diplay just off the main isle and we would advoid the new location. They were suppose to call me back on Monday or today.....still no answer. I am asking for everyone to help Wal-Mart see the error in their choice of location for this display. Thank you to all those who join in. Mellinda

This is especially upsetting because all the Wal-marts that I have gone to are extrememly MESSY...which equals nuts being everywhere.

Our Super Target recently removed the open bins of peanuts. The bins were in the produce area next to the bananas. I never complained although I thought about it often. I did send a Thank you as soon as I noticed the bins were gone. Haven't heard anything back but I'm so relieved!
Good Luck to you I understand how frustrating and scary it can be to see those bins of nuts. I choose my stores carefully when I have DS along.

All of you bitch about WalMart but yet you shop there.
It's because that no matter what your morals tell you, you allow your pocketbook to dictate your actions.
You WON'T pay more money to go elsewhere but then you want to complain about it or better yet you want people to start boycotting.
Can't please all of the people all of the time, and you hate that at some times you are the ones that can't be pleased.
Suck it up and live with it.

nutfreak -- bug off! Let the genuine members here have their say without you bothering them.
When you have to deal with this life-threatening allergy 24/7, I can tell you it is not fun. OK, some of us may get a little "tied-up" with it, but that's how it goes. It is a matter of life & death, literally! Trust me -- I've dealt with it for about 20 years of my life.
Nobody asked you to come here : nobody asked you to criticise. You don't like how we play our lives? Go somewhere else, then! Leave this community to US!!
