We sent to Vinnie Zucchini's here in Toronto last week for brunch. When it got to be dessert time, my 8 yr old TNA son just stood in front of that station, staring with a sad look on his face. He said he didn't want anything. Now, if you know my son, you know that statement is NOT normal in any way. When I asked why, he said he was scared to eat anything (he's still asking US if there are nuts in the desserts WE bake for him).

Anyways, I called our waitress over, and asked if she knew whether any of the desserts were nut free. She went over to the manager, who came over to us. She told my son how wise he was for being cautious, and then showed us which desserts were made on the premises (I would say about half were), and assured him that they make everything nut-free. She showed him which were sent to them half baked, and told him although they were supposed to be nut-free, she couldn't be positive, but then made him feel better by telling him to pig out on all the chocolate pudding and Belgian waffles he could stand.

I thought it was very nice of her, and was impressed by how she handled things
