US Air to cut free snacks on domestic routes

Thank goodness. Maybe all airlines will follow. It's a great idea to save them money, but it sure would make me more comfortable knowing that no peanuts would served to everyone.

Just flew US Air over the weekend, Chicago to Las Vegas.
On Friday (5.30) they served pretzels, on Sunday (6.01) they served no snacks, just drinks.
I guess they were peanut free already, but looks like they stood up to their word.
