I just spoke with Doug Smith (sales rep for Hollandia Bakery) in southern Ontario.
I was asking where I could purchase their nut free cookies in Manitoba.
He said they're hard to find past Thunder Bay and he'd like our help.
If we email him requesting that these cookies be sold in western Canada, he could use these emails to show the grocery chains and try to persuade them to carry the cookies.
If we could also get our friends and families and daycares, and mom's groups etc. to email them this would probably help.
I hope it works 'cause my kids love the little mini cookies we got from grandma.
Thanks for all your help.

At the Triple "A" Race my kids were in a few weeks back for Asthma Allergy Awareness, they had Hollandia cookies there .... Yummy.
I buy them weekly. Didn't realize they weren't available out west. My PA sister lives in Edmonton and would love them, will send her a package and a request for her to send an e-mail to the company. I'll do the same!

We head to the edge of Ontario/Manitoba in the summers ~ I wanted to email Doug but all I saw on the 'contact us' was the switchboard and #800 number. Could you post the email address? Safeway is the typical grocery store we are use to shopping at. I really liked their explanation of what their 'peanut free' means for their packaged (non-bulk) cookies.
Just let me in on the email address and we will send off an email too.
