We are taking a trip to Disney in early January. I just emailed Disney to see if we could have a special "safe" dinner and a cake prepared safe of peanuts/nuts and eggs. I will let you all know the response that I get!!

See my response to the other thread regarding Disney World. We had an unbelievable experience there in April 2002. I'd be surprised if they can't accommodate your request!!!!
Good luck!

Just got back from Disney today. I can't say enough about the wonderful help they give you. Every place has ingredient lists and the cooks are willing to prepare special foods if asked. My dd reacts to the smell, taste and touch of peanuts/nuts- she didn't have one reaction in the 3 days we were there. I had checked out the travel board and read where other members had eaten and kept those in mind while I was there. We had a great time.

Just wanted to let you all know that I contacted Disney prior to our trip and the Chef's called me at back at home. They went out of their way to discuss what my son would like to eat while dining. Also, they will be making a special egg-free, nut-free birthday cake for him to eat on his birthday. I was so impressed at how accomodating they were to us! I'll let you know how it all goes when we return on the 7th!

We want to take our kids to Disney in February. Does anyone have a suggestion of which resort(s) would be best?
