Since my son's pa, I have looked for ways to make things from scratch. This is a yummy tomato soup recipe. Very easy with none of the other stuff in canned soup.

Tomato Soup

1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
24 oz milk
1 t. salt
1/2 to 1 t. celery seed (taste preference)

Put tomato paste into saucepan. Pour in milk using paste can to measure, rinsing it thoroughly. Mix in salt and celery seed and heat on medium heat.

This is so easy! I can't wait to try it. I agree that the Campbell's soups, etc, have far too much other junk in them. Thanks for posting it.

Mmmmm...this sounds good! I've always loved tomato soup--always had grilled cheese and tomato soup as a kid. Unfortunately, NONE of my kids like either of these foods. But I definitely want to try this recipe for myself.
