Thank You for posting that - It saddens me to hear the increase in these allergies but I am glad that awareness is being raised. Is that number quite high for Australia in comparison to the US or Canada?

I'm not sure about the number being high compared to USA/Canada but given our total population is about the size of LA, the per capita may be considered very high.

"half a million Australians with food allergies" is 2.5% (there are 20 million of us Aussies), so that seems to sound similar to the 2% I've read that have serious food allergies in North America,
