Does anyone eat here? I am trying to branch out a little and find some safe places close to inlaws but not fast food. I called today and spoke with the kitchen manager and ask about peanuts/tn she said only one desert with pecans, not baked on site. No peanut oil. They have locations in NC, VA, and WV. She also stated ingred. would be same at any of their locations. Sounded good, but I was wondering if anyone had any personal experience to add. New places make me nervous.

I cannot even imagine that a mgr wouldn't think to mention this, but isn't that the restaurant that has peanuts to eat at all tables, with shells everywhere?

My brother's favorite restaurant is "Texas ROADHOUSE" and that place does serve peanuts on the tables with shells thrown everywhere, he said. He lives in PA near Pittsburgh area. Needless to say that we never go there with DS who has PA! Just wanted you to be aware there are many restaurants with this similiar name... hopefully the one you are going to does not do this.

Yep, that's Texas Roadhouse. GROSS. It's across the street from my favorite store, Old Navy.
I think it's unsanitary, even if you aren't allergic to peanuts. I think someone slipped at one and they got sued but maybe I'm wrong.
