How many of your kids eat Teddy Grahams and graham crackers without a problem and also what are some of your favorite store bought snacks that are totally safe.

Wow, it is great that you are concerned enough to come to this website and ask questions. It is probably best to ask the parent of the food allergic child for a snack list. Just because one food allergic child does not have a problem with a food, it does not mean that specific food will be o.k. with all the other children with a food allergy. It also depends on the child's food allergy; i.e. just peanuts, milk, tree nuts, soy.
My son has a peanut/ tree nut/ soy allergy and eats Teddy Grahams with no problem, as well as Honey Maid graham sticks and crackers, cheddar gold fish, gold fish pretzels, Rold Gold pretzels, Lay's potato chips, Pringles, fruit roll-ups, Jello Pudding bites, jello pudding and jello, drinkable yogurts. Just some snack ideas, but please check with the mom of the child to make sure these are o.k. with her child.
My son eats Teddy Grahams and Graham Crackers by Nabisco w/o any problems on a regular basis.
:-)
Varying from this topic slightly...we noticed that the goldfish grahm crackers are not safe for PA kids.
corrine,
please tell me why they are not safe.
I have only seen the goldfish cinnamon graham crackers in the small snack bags that come in the variety box of 12. They have a warning on them.
Grahm crackers from New Morning are made in a nut free faciltiy when I checked about 2 months ago. You may want to check again. Found at most health food stores.

My husband picked some up without reading the label, assuming since our son eats goldfish regularly there wouldn't be a problem. Right before my husband opened the bag, he read the label, and sure enough they have a warning on them.
Why this particular flavor over any other like cheese, pretzels, etc I don't know, but these are the only ones that I have found that do.
My dd has eaten Teddy Grahams and Graham Crackers without problems.

My peanut- and almond-allergic son eats Teddy Grahams and the plain, Cheddar, and parmesan goldfish without any problems. He also eats Rold Gold pretzels.
I forgot to mention that DS also eats plain, large Ritz crackers.
