I have had hives on my face some popping up & some fading then reappearing since about Mon. Sometimes a few of them are ithcy. How do I know if I'm having a contact allergic reaction to something in the environment, or if it's something I'm eating. In the past when I've eaten nuts I break out with hives on my face & sometimes my eyes swell.
I tested positive for quite a few EA, but neg. to nuts & TN though I know I have reactions to nuts.
DH had eaten peanuts & peanut products durring the week, so it's possible when I've kissed him that I could have reacted to that. I took 2 benadryl the night before last because my hives were burning & slightly itchy. But to me my hives are spreading on my face.
Thanks for any explanation.

It is hard to know, but I will tell you that if you eat something you are allergic to the hives can keep coming back for several days. This has happened to my kids.
