I haven't seen it either. I go to a Safeway (Dominicks) and a Jewel in the NW side of the city. Neither carry it.

I still can't find any PhillySwirl products in the San Francisco Bay Area (Central Contra Costa to be specific). The local Costco no longer stocks them.

I am fairly new to NJ, but would the Stop N Shop in Keyport (Rte 35, just off 117 of the GSP) be closer to you? They had the Swirlwiches & fudge Stixs on sale last week. Very yummy!

Solarflare,
I saw Phillyswirl Stix (not the sorbet cups) at the Concord Costco about a week ago...
I had heard that Phillyswirl was in discussions with some other retailer about possible distribution in our area (later this year), but haven't had a chance to follow-up with Alex yet to see how it turned out.

The phillyswirl are on sale next week at Stop/Shop, and I'll break down and buy some. I dont know which kind (obviously dairy free), but we'll try them.

I finally found the Swirlwiches--well actually my sister found them for me. My Super Walmart does not carry them and has even stopped carrying the sorbet cups. BUT, the SuperWalmart just another 15 miles up the road (by my sister's house) has the Swirlwiches.
Looks like I won't have to make a supply of homemade ice cream for the summer months!
Also--I am in central Illinois so they are making their way west.

Woo Hoo!!! I found Swirlwiches in Giant Supermarket just south of the Poconos. Everytime I went in I was hoping for this product and when I discovered their stash, I immediately bought 4 boxes. Those things disappeared in a heartbeat in our house. Bought 2 more, and 2 more, and now we're ready for many more. VERY DELICIOUS!!!!

Would you mind posting the approximate area. I'm in Illinois, too and haven't been able to locate them. (I'm 30 miles straight west of Chicago)

e-mom,
I guess to you Chicagoland people, I live in southern Illinois.
The swirlwiches are available at the Super Walmart in Peoria, but not in East Peoria. If you have more than one SuperWalmart in your area, I would suggest calling them to see if a different one carries them.
If you still can't find them, e-mail me off the boards. I'm heading to the Southwest suburbs in mid-June. Maybe we can come up with a way to keep the ice cream from melting.

In response to the fake posting I am Dolly and it was my sister who was here baby sitting my two kids with her son Brian. Apparently David(my oldest son) was telling them about rising stars. And she wanted to find out more so they went to this site. That is how we first found out about it. Anyway as far as my screen name I use it always and since Janet (My sister) was using my computer she used my screen name as well. Wow I feel bad that Janet's comments raised questions. For all that this company has done for us, education and the allergy community I would hate for them to get any negitive comments. I am wondering if I should give him a call to let him know? The president of the company actually talked to me for a while in person. Sorry for the confusion.

for what it's worth...........I believe you.
that and I really wouldn't care if it was a "fake" name.
I mean, were talking about a product created for a specific reason, no? I got to look at possible/suspected intent/motivation and see if there is any efficacy in questioning the same. Anywhoooooooo, I'm only a frequent visitor to pa.com and aside from some humorous/lighthearted guessing games about "double/triple/multiple" identities here in the past (ie: "Cookie Recipies" under "Snacks Forum"), I don't get in a bunch over such.
Anywhoooooooooooooooo, (again), glad you asked since someone provided a direct link to the philly website and "rising star" page.
Excellent site, BTW. Very classy. Love it when that happens.

RE:
"Efficacy".
I mean, I just got to be thankful there is someone/anyone out there that cares about my families needs. Particularly when they are not universal needs, when they are special needs, when they are uncommon needs.
That, indeed, takes individuals who put others needs before their own. Or at least someone who recognizes a need and feels compelled to act not only in their own interests, but on another's behalf. I've seen such virtue extolled on these boards before? I believe it's called Compassion.

I share your sentiment.
I mean, just this week I noticed another manufacturer. "Skinny Cow" bars had added (or always had---don't know---was in a different regional area) a peanutbutter variety. Sigh.
I mean, I eat peanut products occassionally, (usually in the form of the unadulterated peanut or pb)**see note-- but it seems like everyday there is another product manufacturer adding a "peanut flavored" variety of something or other.
**Note: )--- as far as I know I am not pa-- my husband has a history of it, my oldest cub has a formal diagnosis of pa, and my youngest cub has a "low positive" blood test, an "incomplete diagnosis", (no "formal diagnosis".)

I found a 24-pak of those Philly Swirl Ice cream sandwiches at the BJ's in Framingham. They sell for around 8.00.

I have been reading these posts today and I have to tell you that I have nothing but the highest regard for Alex and Phillyswirl. My son can no longer have the ice cream sandwiches due to a new soy allergy , but whenever I need any answers about his products I always get a personal response and that is invaluable to me as it should be for all of us.. Remember we are not the only people(Pa) who must enjoy these snacks , I am sure the rest of the population does also. I would hate to see a disregard for their thoughtfulness to our needs be a slap in their faces. Our family blesses the day these guys came into our lives... Kathy Ann

We found the sorbet swirl cups at Meijers in Rolling Meadows. This is a new location right off of Golf Road near Schaumburg.

Heads up for all Phudgebar-a-holics: The other day I was craving a PhillySwirl Phudgebar but I was all out. So, while grocery shopping I grabbed my usual box of PhillySwirl Stix. Well, to my dismay the next day, I found that the Phudgebar is no longer included! Talk about being bummed!
I visited PhillySwirl's website and apparently the Phudgebar is now in a new package called Phudge Sundae Variety Pack.
I hope my grocer has them!!! I haven't had time to go back.
Still craving a Phudgebar,
Terri
