Just feeling good about taking ds out for the day to DC. I've been so hesitant to take him places where I'm not familiar. We have really limited what we do b/c of PA. Plus DS is our youngest and just 3. Anyway, after his failed food challenge 2 weeks ago, we just decided that we have to figure out how to "live" with pa rather than just put off "really living" until he outgrows. I know, wishful thinking. Anyway, out of town guests wanted to do a few things this week and so far all was well. We did find food out that I thought was OK and we even found OK popsicles. We rode the Metro and did all the things that families do. No major reactions. DS does have a goopy eye, but not sure if might be starting pink eye. Maybe a slight reaction? I don't know yet, but I'm counting this day a success. And, none of us got heatstroke! Thanks for listening.
