I just saw Sunbutter in Target!!!!! ITs next to the organic peanut butters. Woo Hoo!!! The only other place I have found it any where near me is in Trader Joes and that is not all that convient to me.

They only had the plain, you still have to go to the manufacture to get the other varieties.

The kids and I LOVE Sunbutter!!!!!!

I'll have to check that out. I saw it at Target a couple of times several years ago and then it wasn't there. Glad to see it's back.

OMG! I just bought some Sunbutter today (at Publix) and it tastes almost EXACTLY like peanut butter. I've been dying to make Scotcheroos for my daughter and I finally made some for her. She loves them.
Here's the recipe:
Butter a 9x12 baking dish
In a pot combine:

1 cup corn oil[/*:m]
1 cup sugar[/*:m][/list:u]
Heat over medium/high heat until it comes to a full boil, stirring constantly.
Add 1 cup of Sunbutter and mix thoroughly
Quickly poor over 6 cups of Rice Crispies and mix thoroughly.
Spread in the 9x12 dish
Melt a 6 oz. bag of chocolate chips and spread over the crispy mixture.
ENJOY!!!!

This is great! I haven't introduced my daughter to sunbutter yet, but it is nice to see that alternatives to PB are becoming available in mainstream stores.

I found Sunbutter at my Target too!! I LOVE LOVE it!!! I think it is a lot better than the Soybutter, personally. My non-pa DS likes it a lot better too.
I also noticed this week they started stocking it at our commissary too (military, we do major grocery shopping on post) so that was nice to see too! YAY!

We are lucky. Both major supermarket chains here carry sunbutter. I was a PB junkie before DS's PA and sunbutter has saved me. I love it!

Sorry to bump an old thread....but does anyone know if Sunbutter is made in a peanut free facility? I found a couple of sunflower seed butters in Canada but they all say may contain peanuts as they are made in the same facility as peanut butter(Canada is very strict on their labelling). Anyways, if anyone can tell me if Sunbutter is a 100% peanut free product I'd greatly appreciate it. A friend of mine is going to the states soon and I'd like for her to pick me up several jars if it is.

It is made in a peanut and tree nut free facility.
