With summer rapidly approaching, some of you may not be aware of a danger with sunscreen (im new here).

Anyway, some sun screens do have nut oils in them. As an example, Coopertone has Ahoba(sp.?) oil in it.

pJeff,br /
I would really like to know more about this since my son has had on-again, off-again reactions to sunscreen! I have not been able to figure out a pattern - some days he would break out in hives to a sunscreen, the next day he wouldn't. Please keep us posted!!br /
Thanks,br /

pThank you for the alert! I have also come across lotion that contains dairy products. I used it on myself and noticed my infant son broke out in hives. One of his allergies is dairy./p

pGood point! We use the Banana Boat products on my PA daughter. I get the 30 SPF and she's had no problem so far. Hope this helps!/p

pWe use Banana Boat on our young sons as well and have had no problems. I like that they list all ingredients, not just the active ones./p
