Hi Kathy Ann,

The website is http://www.panhandlepremium.com/

And if you go to the "Main Discussion Board" you will see a topic "You can order nut-free Canadian chocolate from the USA (Smarties, etc)". I have moved this posting to near the top of the list so you can find it easily. With Easter coming, I am sure people may order chocolate.

There has been some confusion on this product here in the past. I contacted the company and American Smarties are safe. I have purchased them and my son has eaten them without issue.

It is my understanding that the candy called "Smarties" in the USA are sugar candies, the "Smarites" in Canada are chocolate candies with a color coating.

Yes.. the Smarties from Canada are made by Nestle and they are milk chocolate coated in a candy shell.

The Smarties in the USA are tangy candy.. no chocolate. Since Nestle owns the trademark for Smarties in Canada, they are called "Rockets" here.
