I have two boys (12 & 9) that are PA & TA. I also have two DD (14 & 7) with no food allergies.

We found out about our oldest DS allergy at 8 months. So when my 2nd DS came along we avoided all nuts, as if he was allergic. Not hard when you are doing it for one already. When it was time for him to go off to kindergarten we had him tested. He had a level 6 peanut, and level 5 almond allergy...having never eating any nuts!!

When our DD was born we did the same thing. When it was time to go to school we did a skin test, she had no reaction! So they then did a food challenge, with no reaction!
