I was thinking about having a booth at our fair on FA. I was wondering if anyone has ever done this. My area is so blind when it comes to FA. I saw on FAAN website that they would send stuff to hand out. Any advice would be great!!!

No advice but lots of encouragement - sounds like a great idea, espcially if you can get some "official" stuff from FAAN.
Sounds like a good idea to me. As long as you're not placed next to a peanut stand. I'm not kidding on that one either.
That is true! Alabama has peanuts everywhere anyway. I better remind the fair of that when I go to set up.
great idea! we avoid the fair because of our sons food alergies and enviromental alergies.
maybe you could contact faan to get some ideas on what to do.
good luck. let us know how it goes!

I did contact FAAN today. They are suppossed to call me back. I was thinking about doing a handout on in Memory of also. What do you all think? Would that be ok to get info from the IN MEMORY OF THREAD and come up with a handout?
I talk to FAAN and they are sending out some stuff to hand out at the fair. I also talked to Allergykids. I am going to buy some stuf to give away for awareness. Allergykids braclets are lime green and FAAN are teal green. Do you all think it matters which place they come from? Allergykids has really been helpful and my daughter loves their stuff.
