I know this seems really stupid, and i suppose I should feel happy, but I just feel confused and scared.

I had my allergist appt on friday, and all were negative apart brazil nuts which was a mild positive......I have just had a blood test to try and confirm this is the case........weird

I will let you know when the results come.

She even said about trying a food challenge with other nuts... (i almost told her to * off in front of her face Smiley oops) but im not going to..........

That's wonderful! I can totally understand about being frightened of the prospects though. I've often tried to imagine how I will/would feel when/if we ever get a negative or a big drop in RAST with my son where we do a peanut challenge. The thought terrifys me!
To even imagine putting something into him that we were told could kill him? To go back to our former life where all we thought with regards to food was nutritional info.... it seems like that was a different family.
So no, there's nothing stupid about it.... I wish you boatloads of luck though!

k9ruby, I think it is perfectly normal to feel the way you do. People cannot shut their feelings off and on like a tap. To go from complete avoidance to even the thought of consuming, is telling your mind to do a complete reversal of the survival mechanism its used to!
I would also like to please add that nobody "should" feel anything. There are enough pressures in this world, without adding more on to our plates. Your feelings are your own and you have every right to feel whichever way about this. Good luck.
