I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to this wonderful group of people. My daughter is 3 and PA and I have been researching and reading things on this site for a few months and I just wanted to say that this is truly a Gift to all of us dealing with this. I'm so grateful to be able to learn and share from our experiences through the internet....there have been so many times when I would read a new post on someone introducing themselves and I have been feeling those same feelings and cried right along with them as I read line after line...I feel like I'm on an emotional rollercoaster...I go from confidence in my ability to protect my daughter and educate others to feelings of anxiety and defeat...it can be so hard when you feel take the time to gather info. for those around you in order to keep your children safe and it seems at times they still don't get it....I feel like a freak at times...but they would do the same if it was there children or even if they took the time to really understand this could mean life or death for our kids! This site has given me the drive that I need to keep going at times when I feel I am running on less than fumes! Thank you all for sharing what you have learned though these post! It truly is a Godsent!

welcome to peanutallergy.
We all have ups and downs as parents, more so if we are dealing with a complex problem such as allergy.
Some days you feel confident and other days crushed by the weight of it all. This site is helpful for each and every emotion and problem that you may have regarding living with allergies.
I look forward to reading your posts ,
sarah , mummy to Will, 7 with allergies to peanut, all beans, egg, kiwi fruit, dustmite , cat , dog, tree pollen, hay fever , ezcema.
