Save School Nurses

E-mail I just received from the Asthma and Allergy Foundation:

Call your state senator and your state
representative and ask them to pass a budget and save these school nurse
positions. See page B 1 in the Boston Globe today (both Ilene McNammara's
column and the article about freezing the tax cut for more background
information if you wish.) It is important to call NOW.

A follow up e-mail I just got:
The Swift administration has plans to cut funding for 300 school nurses. Please call your State Senator and Rep today and ask them to save the funding for the Enhanced School Nurse Program. It is urgent
that you call today since this is almost a "done deal" and will require a great effort to reverse this cut.
Thank you for your efforts to save funding for our school nurses!
