What brand yeast do you use? I have Fleishmann's in the house and there is no contact information for them. Have there been brands that anyone has had a problem/reaction to? TIA!

I use Fleischman's, always have. I buy the big jars and also the packets, I have never called and never had a problem. I think there is another yeast thread here, I'll try to find it.

I use the Red Star yeast. It's the only thing they make. Have used it with out any problems. Gluten Free as well.

I generally use Fleischmann's--buy it at Sam's Club...2 lbs for about $3. I have bought the jars and packets, too. I also have used Red Star, SAF...never called, never a problem. I bake 99% of all our bread products.

I use Fleischmann's and Bakipan on a regular basis. I am located in Canada, if that makes a difference to brands.

I use Fleishmann's all the time and I did contact the company and they are safe, no peanuts or tree nuts. Hope that helps!!
