URGENT SAFETY REMINDER AGAIN!!
(For us, for newbies, for anybody who might access these lists)
When you are making your own list of "acceptable" items (for yourself, or school, or whomever) PLEASE be sure you are straight & clear on US vs. Canadian items, since some items are safe from Canada, but NOT safe from US source.
Also, please consider that you should ALWAYS CONFIRM SAFETY with label reading and/or manufacturer contact.

Quote: I checked a box of Twinkies in May & they had a peanut allergy warning on them.

I have a 'safe-list' US-specific, if anyone wants a copy, request with your email. I update it yearly, as well as a candy list. I include Nabisco on the list, but my DD doesn't eat Nabisco (the safe list is for items other children can safely bring in for their own consumption).
Let me know if you want it. I don't think I can post it here and keep the ease of the format.

Yes, please e-mail this to me as well! I am so happy this thread was bumped up. I am currently trying to put together as much material as possible for my child's school, and this would be a great addition.

Being conscious about our diet is somewhat good because it lead us in disciplining ourselves in terms of eating what is enough for us. Sometimes, a little nonsense makes everything exciting.
Today you are able to celebrate your health or lack thereof with National Junk Food Day. National Junk Food day means you are able to use today to not feel guilty about anything you eat. Better for some, you are able to use today to feel good about how healthy you eat. Use today to take out an installment loan and fill your cupboards; or use it to fill the cupboards of those in need. This holiday is awesome because no matter how you feel when it comes to healthy eating, you can find an excuse in today to promote your feelings. This year is my first year celebrating this holiday and I can't wait.
