sorry I can't search here and I saw the makeup thread but since the OP is in canada...

Anyway, I am not PA but my dd is PA/TNA. I want to get myself some foundation and maybe concealer but want to make sure it's something that will be safe for my daughter in case she touches my face, etc. All 3 of my kids tend to hang on me a lot. thanks!

I use Clinique for foundation/lipstick, Loreal for eyeshadow/eyeliner, and Maybelline for mascara. My dd and myself are PA/TNA. Have used Garden Botanika in the past with no problem. Also Bare Essentials is peanut and tree nut free at Bareessense.com

I use all clinique products (including the creams) since they do not have nuts in their products. I've used them safely around my DS for 3 years w/o any issues at all.

Robinlp have you called clinique lately? I just did a search here and found a lot of people who had trouble with clinique, but they are all older posts. I'm getting ready to order some moisturizer and concealer and wanted to double check before I did.

someone on another thread recommended Garden Botanika and I just looked at their site and see they have almond cream products plus a foundation primer with almond oil in it. They also have products with macadamia nut oil and cola nut oil (not sure if that's a true nut tho) in them. *sigh*. I just want some safe moisturizer and concealer.

I posted in another thread that I get my makeup from HSN-Home Shopping Network. I have been getting it there for at least 7 years and have had no problems. The brand is Signature Club A. It is by far the best
makeup I have ever had. The send you a list of ingredients and I have never seen anything with peanuts or nut oils.

I sell Mary Kay and am also a member here so this isn't a sales pitch If you tell me exactly what you are looking for I can look in the complete ingredient book and also do a cross reference for you!

I live in the US and use Cover Girl (foundation, concealer, & lipstick) and Maybelline (blush and eyeliner).
I do, however, always check the ingredients as they often change. But so far, no problems.
Stay safe,
Terri

Tequilla Harris at gardenbotanika.com has been a great help in finding safe products.

colorscience also has some mineral only products and sun screen. Their customer care is terrible though about getting back to you. You have to keep trying...... I am not pn/tn but 1 of my kids is and I also treat my other as though she is since she has a good chance of it. I use their base and blush and gardenbotanika lipstick. I don't wear it frequently though.
