My son is allergic to peanuts and almonds. I'd like to find a brand of hot dogs and lunch meats that's safe for him. (After the posts I've read about ConAgra, I'm afraid to try ConAgra brands.)
So, do any of you in the U.S. have a brand of hot dogs and/or lunch meats (sliced turkey, ham, etc.) that you feel is safe for folks with nut allergies?

My son is allergic to peanuts. Hot dogs and packaged lunch meats seem pretty safe to me. We've used all kinds of brands and never had a problem. We frequently use Louis Rich products since we avoid pork and we also use all beef Kosher brands (like Best's and a few others) that are available at the supermarket.
We've never had a problem with any hot dogs or lunch meats. My dd is not allergic to almonds, but I've never seen or heard of them being in lunch meats or hot dogs.
We use Empire for sliced lunch meat. I called and was told that their meats and lunch meats were produced in a safe facility.

My PA daughter has never ate hot dogs or lunch meats herself, but I have and she has not reacted through breastfeeding. I only buy the Oscar Mayer brand.

BallPark Hotdogs are safe. Butterball oven roasted turkey breast is also safe. Neither contains dairy either.
My 22 month old dd is PA and has never reacted to deli or prepackaged lunchmeats or hot dogs. We've used Healthy Choice, Louis Rich, and Butterball.
We always use Butterball Hot Dogs.
We use Louis Rich Turkey dogs and Hebrew National Beef hot dogs.
hi. hatfield says they will label any nut/peanut products in their ingredients. they also told me today that they do not dip their lunchmeat in peanut oil as some other companies do. good luck!!
For lunchmeats and hot dogs we use Wellshire Farms, Diestel Farms, and Applegate Farms. Our favorite is Wellshire Farms. My dd and myself both have PA/TNA and numerous other food allergies.
