I love corn dogs, but don't want to make my own. Are there any premade ones that you trust? thanks. My dd is PA and TNA and we live in the US.

I was just going to a search for the same info. Nobody has any safe suggestions???
My dd has had turkey corndogs many times. I haven't replied because I can't remember the brand and I don't have any here. I think it is Foster Farms. I haven't called them, just went by the label and so far so good.
State Fair are safe. Ds loves them and they are great for get togethers with other kids.
Have you called and checked to see if these were safe? I was just looking at the website which lists the ingredients and I noticed that the batter contains artifical flavor and lecithin.

Foster Farms mini corn dogs, the plain variety.
My DD eats them all of the time.
I did call the manufacturer as well and they gave the ok.
We buy Ball Park corn dogs. You can find them in the frozen section. The ones that we buy come in a box of, I believe, 15 or 20.
I have never called them but ds eats them with absolutely no problem at all. He LOVES them.
Hope this helps.

I just called today about the State Fair brand Cheese Mini Corn Dogs which my kids wanted to try. The ingredient list looked fine, but on the phone they said that they are not required to label peanut until 2006 and any of their products that are battered could have been fried in peanut oil. She was very concerned about my son eating them, so needless to say, they are going in the trash!
We use the Kroger brand. Never any problems. There is an allergen warning for wheat I think.
My 2yo PA/egg allergic DS eats State Fair corn dogs all the time; only the "regular" corn dogs, not the minis...the minis have egg in the batter.
I called SF several weeks ago and got the "if there were a chance, it would be listed on the label" blah blah blah. We have used them many many times, without any problems.
