I am totally new to all of this. My 11 month old had a reaction to just touching peanut butter over the weekend. (Peanut butter accidentally got on his cheek by me) He hived up, eyes red and nose running etc. I took him to the ER.

Since yesterday he has had bad diaherra, which cuased a horrible diaper rash and his eczema patches have multiplied. Is this all due to the peanut Allergy? Left over from what happened this weekend?

It could be. What did they do in the ER?? Just curious(like administer meds?) Did they tell you to coninue Bendryl(for the GI symptoms??)
My daughter just recently got diarrhea and HORRID diaper rash but it was after ingesting a bit of strawberry(in a strawberry newton...she also screamed and pulled it out of her mouth, so I am taking that it was also burning)....anyways, the bit she ate was making it's way through the GI's *starting* to get better now, that was quite a few days ago. Could he have gotten the bit on his cheek, onto his hands and maybe into his mouth, nose, eye??? I guess at this point it doesn't matter, I just like to know details to note for the doc. Anyways, have you tried some Bendryl to try and calm things down, isn't that awlays recommended a few days after reactions(correct me if I am wrong).
