There's a nice "blurb" on food allergy on Page 37 of the January issue (with Nicole Kidman on the cover). Anyway, it's on one of those "Red Alert" pages in the top right-hand corner; it's the main point of the page. There's a large picture of a couple kissing with the caption Have food allergies? Be careful whom you kiss!" In the paragraph underneath, it quotes a California med. school study stating that people with food allergies can have a reaction from kissing someone who has eaten the food, and recommends that everyone in the household avoid eating the allergenic food.

Thought it was great that this is printed just as everyone is getting together with their families before Christmas!
