I just found out I am pregnant with our second child. (Still feeling a bit overwhelmed.) Our first (DD,19 months) is allergic to Peanuts, Milk (anna) and Eggs. We have a Peanut/Nut free home. I will not be eating any peanut or nut products during this pregnancy unlike the last one where I "lived" on PB.
Food allergies do not run in the family so there was no reason for me to think eating PB would be a problem. I nursed our daughter until she was 11months.

I haven't found any up-to-date info about peanut/nut free pre-natal vitamins and am wondering if this is still a concern. The vitamins I am taking do not list either in the ingredients. They are a CVS brand and they don't list a phone # to call either.

I guess what I am looking for is your opinions or (your OB/GYN's) about cutting out Milk and Eggs during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Also, suggestions for a Pre-natal vitamin free of Peanut/nut oils. (if they still exist)

I will be seeing my OB/GYN next week and would like to have an idea of what to ask her. I have a feeling she is clueless about food allergies. We live in an area where PA is just about unheard of.

Any thoughts, advice and opinions are welcome!
Alicia
