I remember a few months ago someone posted a link to Pizza Hut about their red sauce having a peanut warning....my sons soccer coach just asked what pizza could my son eat(and I was goign to copy and paste the peanut warning from Pizza Hut) and it's gone. Their red sauce has no allergens listed at all. Do you think it's okay now??? Is the warning gone for good?? I just think this is weird, we quite ordering it but now is it safe again??? Thanks

I was just about to head over to the pizza hut site because I saw a commercial about 10 minutes ago that mentioned that the hand-tossed crust is now "all new" or whatever.
I hope they removed the warning because the risk is gone, and not just because they're rehauling their site or something.

Too good to be true? I just checked the website and their Food Allergen/Sensitivity table and peanut is checked for the red and white pizza sauce and some of the pastas. Too bad!

What a shame! I guess we'll be ordering Papa John's from now on. Their site says:
Does your pizza contain peanuts or peanut oils?
NO. Peanut and/or peanut oil is not used in the manufacture of any of our products.

Pizza Hut safety varies by restaurant. The one in the next town over is NOT safe (they use actual peanut oil in the pizza) while the one two towns over IS safe.

They do still have the peanut warning on their allergen list.

Yes...I was looking at the ingredients list, nothing was mentioned....someone pointed out in the "allergen/sensitivity list" it's still there, dang it! No PH for soccer!

Can your son do Papa John's -- though it is not dine-in, if that's what they were looking for.
