My son has been eating hershey's kisses without a problem.
My son is only 23 months so he hasn't had any Hershey's Kisses yet. Hersheys told me to read the label on the package and if there isn't any warning, the allergy task force considers that there is no risk for cross contamination.
I personally will NOT feed my child Kisses or anything from Hershey at all. ever. This based upon recommendation from a Hershey Rep. and my own fears of chocolate being so high risk. Now, I know you will hear from lots of people who disagree. I don't know why some of us got such different answers from Hershey. I don't know who is right or who is wrong. But for now, I'm more comfortable playing it safe.
Yea for pez dispensers. They get me through shopping with my 2 year old and sometimes my 9 year old. Yes Christopher has had them. I just want to remind you all even though you probably already know be careful with the Hershey Kisses. Make sure to check the bag they are coming from, because they do make almond ones. My son will only take them from people if he sees the original bag and checks for himself. Yes he does love them. Cindy we have refills here. I will email you information from a bag when I get to the store again. take care claire
Simply re-raising since halloween is around the corner and PEZ is another safe treat.
I saw some halloween PEZ dispensers that are pumpkins, ghosts, etc
My daughter has never tried Pez candy as I didn't know they were safe. Are they still manufactured in Europe? Does anyone have a contact number for the manufacturer so that I can contact them?
When I called PEZ last year - was told that there was a chance of cross contamination.
Here's the number for pez:
888-777-2205
I called today but they said they would have to call me back about it. The lady I spoke with had no clue at all what I was talking about.

I called Pez today and the rep was not able to give me any information on whether peanuts are in the manufacturing plant. She said there was no way she could find out this info for me and directed me to their website. There is no info about allergens on their website. If anyone was able to receive any information on Pez being safe, could you please provide me with a contact name and number.
Pez never did call me back.
