Does anyone know restaurants in Bergen County, NJ or Rockland County, NY (I live on the border) that are peanut-free or at least have a children's menu that is? Both my daughters (ages 3 and 5) are allergic and I know of only two restaurants (Iron Horse in Westwood, Mt. Ivy Cafe in Pomona) where I can take the family without having to worry. Thanks!

I'm not sure if you have Red Robins or Ninety-Nine restaurants. Both are "allergy friendly". Red Robin will give you a book listing out the foods that are safe from the top-8 allergens. Ninety-Nine will go over the allergs with you in detail. You can even go on their website and view the allergens in their foods. Mention the allergy to your server and the restaurant mgr as well.
