Anyone heard back from the company? I never received a response and am going to email them again. http://www.generalmills.com/corporate/contact_us/contact_us.aspx
It is so disappointing that we had a favorite 'safe' cereal that my 3 y/o can no longer enjoy.

Just to let everyone know, Cinnamon toast crunch was my daughter's fave too but now we don't trust it.
Malt O meal, (the cereal that comes in bags) makes a knockoff of the Cinnamon toast crunch and best of all it is PN/TN free. They only make a honey o's cereal that has almonds but that is made on a seperate line.
And it is way cheaper too!

I e-mailed them also. It's not that we don't have enough PB products out there! It seems as though the manufacturers are trying their best to get it in everything they can! Or, maybe it just seems that way to me.

Great email, deegann. I am going to send one, too.
We just saw a commercial for this last night and my dd said "I guess we won't be able to buy the cinnamon toast crunch cereal anymore". It makes me both angry and sad.

I called malt O meal about their cereals. She said that there are ground almonds in the cereal that sebastian posted above, and that there are two other non-nut cereals made on that line: apple cinnamon toasty-o's and golden puffs. The problem I have is that they do not label those two for shared lines so how will I know if they started making another cereal on that line and also don't label it? I don't want to call every time we get a new bag of cereal. ugh. I hate this. She did say they did a thorough wash but as everyone knows some company's idea of a thorough wash isn't always thorough enough.
