I was picking up some soy butter at Trader Joe's today and at the end of each checkout there were open jars with free samples of what looked like peanut butter cups.

My ds wasn't with me and I was in a rush, so I didn't follow up with the mgt. I will try and check it out this weekend but wanted to give you all a heads up.

This is disappointing news. I hope you are able to follow up and let them know why this is a very bad idea.
I'll keep my eyes open!

They always have samples at our checkouts. Usuallt 3 different isles. Often nut containing snack foods, or not. Definately mat containse. They are, however, too hig for young children to help themselves. Like, shoulder or chest level to me. I avoid bringing my dd in there because there are lots of bags of nuts as well. But we do frequent their stores for soy butter. becca
