pI just telephoned Novartis Pharmaceutical in FLA and they told me they don't have any peanuts or nuts in their facility at all! Yeah! I'm going to buy some Ovaltine this afternoon! If anyone else wants to call, the phone number is 1-800-442-0099./p

Well, I never called, because we used it before PA with no troubles, so we still do. We used Malt before, and chocolate now. I like that it has added nutrients, and I can use just 1/2 the amount or less, so it is lower sugar. My dd was rejecting milk, and I finally resorted to this. becca

Hi! My pa/tna daughter has used Ovaltine for the past 3 years. When I called the company, they responded proudly that it is indeed peanut/treenut free and made in a facility that does not contain these. Hope this helps. Kelly

It's my daughter's favorite drink - I called the company, too, and like KayMarks, was told they were peanut/tree nut-free.

I called the company that makes Ovaltine and also was told it is peanut/tree nut free. We drink it all the time in our house.

Is Ovaltine the same in the U.S. as Canada? I have been trying for weeks to get information on Ovaltine. I love it!!Does the label on the jar have chinese and other languages in the U.S. too? It doesn't say where it is made. Does anyone have the phone number?

These products are peanut/tree nut free, however, all varieties do contain soy. The malt and original are not gluten free.

I just got a response back from Ovaltine. They say the MALT and ORIGINAL are nut-free. But the chocolate malt drink may have come in contact with nuts. (figures that is the one I bought!)
The ovaltine supplier is in Vancouver. This is the same supplier for the United States and Canada.
......well back to the store to take back the chocolate malt.....
