outgrowing allergy

my ds is 4 next month. i have been suspecting he is outgrowing his milk allergy for about a year because he has had a few accidental exposures and not reacted as in the past. last week he drank a sip of brothers milk. he spit it out and cried and said his tongue was itchy. no other symptoms and seemed fine after 30 sec or so. i am assuming he is still allegic until i have him tested but has anybody ever seen that as an only symptom to a food allergy.

That is my dd's reaction to anything with soy as a top ingredient. Sometimes it has been accompanied by redness around the mouth but the first thing is the immediate spitting it out and complaining of an itchy tongue. She is Class VI PA, Class 3 and 4 to most Tree nuts, and now Class 3 to soy.

Yes. Itchy Mouth followed by stomach cramps are the only symptoms for some of dd's exposures.
