I'm worried about going away with my pa child in less than two weeks.

WE will be going to Ocean City, NJ. THis will be the first time that my family will be away from home since finding out about the PA.

Is anyone aware of any safe restaurants here? My son just had his first reaction in a long time by throwing up and now it has me scared about leaving the area.

We do not go out to each much because of his allergy. Usually to Micky D's or our Favorite pizza place.

Can anyone help? It would be much appreciated.

thanks so much,

Renee

There is a McD's in Ocean City & there is also a restaurant called the Chatterbox where the staff is very helpful & careful. We eat there often but it depends on your comfort zone because they do serve ice cream desserts & I think they serve pb&J for kids. But, they always make my sons' food away from the sandwich & dessert area after washing their hands. One other place is Mack & Manco pizza on the boardwalk or Randazzo's pizza which I believe is near 34th street. Do be careful on the boardwalk because there is a peanut shop and there are sometimes shells near it on the boards. (My husband always asks me if I'm going to attack the big peanut character they sometimes have in front of the shop)!LOL

MTAL,
thanks for the heads up. My sons favorite food is of course Pizza. Good to know about the peanut shop too. I will be on the look out.
I have had a pretty wide comfort zone up until yesterday. I'm sure everything will be fine.
THanks so much for the info!!
best wishes,
