Hi
Been long time since we've stayed at O.C. and multiply food allergic child ate pizza most of time there. When very little we'd pack safe food for him and eat anyplace. Later on he could have some safe french fries at some places.
He never eats the bread re sesame or egg possible contam.
Sorry don't know names of places to suggest- but I did not wait in long line to ask for about food safety- but rather asked to talk with manager while DH and kids waited in line. One night we tried three places before we could find place were we could all eat.- better planning now is to check out web sites of fast food places and scoop out safe possibles and double check with manager while at place I've even called day or two before going to certain place then findout if there are any safe choices. If not then we don't go there or if social obligation (family member 80th birthday etc) then multiply food allergic eats before going to event- I pack safe sweet treat- snack for while there)
Hope you have a fun and safe vacation.
One time at O.C. we rented an efficency and cooked in most of the time other times we shared expense of place with some others who have kids about same age who agreed not to have peanuts/ tree nuts etc for the week.

Hi. We've just gotten home from OC. Had a great week. Hope the weather will be good for you. My oldest is PA/Egg allergic and youngest is dairy allergic. We stayed in a condo and cooked a lot. The only dinner out was from Wendy's. We had a McDonald's ice cream one night. We have in the past eaten Dough Roller pizza. I believe La Hacienda Mexican restaurant was safe last year. OC is really difficult with all the fried food. No Thrasher fries, no Alaska Stand fries, etc. We just had popsicles and Kool-Aid Jammers as treats. It worked fine.
Have a great vacation.
