I'm trying to find nut-free/ safe grocery store finds for my little girl who allergic to all nuts and peanuts. What are some crackers, treats, etc... you've found easily in your grocery store?
Thanks for sharing!

you might want to check out the Snack Safely list. It's organized by brand and is pretty comprehensive. Here's a link:

My daughter craves fruit, yogurt and raw veggies like crazy which is super helpful but when it comes to sleepovers and movie night, we always have to have a good stash of goodies. Chips Ahoy original choc chip cookies as well as Keebler Fudge Stripes and Original Oreos are cookies we easily buy (we always double check though in case manufacturing processes change) She also likes pop tarts on occasion, nutrigrain bars, special K cereal bars and regular special K cereal with fresh fruit. We make homemade rice krispies brand bars Honeymaid graham crackers, goldfish crackers, townhouse - so many safe choices here Hershey currently makes safe chocolate chips and original candy bars for cookies and smores It's not as hard to find fun tasty treats as you think. Our daughter is 13 now but when she was diagnosed at age one we simply started by making fruit and veggies super fun to eat...ants on a log (craisins on a log are just crazy raisins in her mind) fruit kabobs dipped in vanilla yogurt, chopped fruit with a big whip of whipped cream. Hope this helps.
Special treats we buy from peanutfreeplanet.com but only give those at holidays so they are extra memorable.

We like, Teddy Grahams, Nilla Wafers, Sun Chips, Cheese it's, Oreos, we use Hershey chocolate chips to make cookies, Twinkies, wheat thins... those are just a few. I always double check labels each time we buy these items.

I don't know where you live but we live close to Canada and make a few trips a year to stock up on awesome snacks. They have PN/TN free Quaker granola bars, Presidents Choice granola bars, Kit Kats, Mars bars and more. Most of the products you can buy on the website peanutfreeplanet.com, but if you can get to Canada you pay half the price and no shipping. Canada has wonderful nut free products!

Hi Beth- Dare Cookies are excellent and peanut free. Many stores carry them, I have occasionally seen them at Wal-Mart...and regionally some Publix, Shop Rite, Weis Markets, and even Stop and Shop have stocked their products. Also, a GREAT company called Peanut Free Planet has TONS of goodies from PN/TN Free vendors such as Vermont Nut Free, and even have the safe Kit Kats from Canada along with tons of other great products!! http://www.peanutfreeplanet.com/ http://www.darefoods.com/Product.aspx?id=3&lang=en I hope this helps:)

My little girl loves tortilla chips, and the ones I've found at Whole Foods and HEB, have been safe for her. If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, the gluten free choco chip cookies are free of any allergens for her as well. Hope that helps a little:)

My favorite: http://snacksafely.com/safe-snack-guide/
The PDF printable edition is updated frequently and well-researched. It also includes coupons and discount codes for both grocery and on-line vendors.
