Hi everyone, I am a student at North Dakota State University (NDSU) and would very much appreciate any help. I am looking for some feedback on a few questions about a peanut and tree nut free product that I would like to see made easily available to everyone and put into schools for the safety of the kids. This product is a premade and packaged sunbutter and jelly sandwich without the crust. This is similar to the uncrustable, however it would be a safe and convenient sandwich for those with peanut allergies. Please, if there are any questions just ask or help me with a few questions I have by commenting or sending me a message to my email email@example.com
How much would you like to see this product in school lunch programs? Would this product be of interest to anyone? Where or what would be most convenient for making this product available for retail? What might be a few options for introducing this product? Convention?

I think this is a great idea! I would love to see this in schools as a replacement to the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches all together.
Your biggest obstacle I can see might be cost. Sunbutter is much more expensive than peanut butter and if you can't get cost down--schools won't buy it.
Feel free to ask more questions or email me personally.

This is a great idea. I'd support it in a heartbeat! Depending on cost, I'd carry it in my online store, www.fabsnacks.com (when I get back to work on it!). Try directly contacting the very accessible owners at www.allergygrocer.com, www.navanfoods.com, and www.allergiesandme.com to pick their brains. They are all very committed to making life for those with food allergies easier and are the top specialty food store for food allergies, in my opinion.
Best wishes, Jennifer B www.foodallergybuzz.com www.peanutfreebaseball.com
