Eric, You are the rock star of chocolate bars! My pa dd's love it when we can find another safe source of junk for them to consume. Thanks!

I just told my dd and she is soooo excited. We can't wait to try them. I noticed though in the pic, on the packaging it says "Energy bar". Is this different in some way than a plain ole chocolate bar?

Excellent news...I live in Canada but grew up in US and Mars are not the same as Milky Way, They don't make Milky Way's in Canada.

But from what I have seen, a U.S. Milky Way is identical to a Canadian Mars bar.. how are they different? They are both filled with nougat and caramel with a chocolate coating.
Canadian Mars bar:

p.s. the Mars bar is a chocoalte bar, they just say "energy bar" as their advertising campaign says it gives you a source of energy

Sure looks like a US Milky Way to me....
Yummmm.
Now I just need for Panhandle Premium or Canadian Sweets to get them so I can get them shipped (with some more Aeros!)

Went out and bought some tonight, found it in a Shopper's Drug Mart in West Hill.
Adam and his brother tried them, both thought they were great!

Erik, I have to laugh at your EXCELLENT food photos. I think you should consider a career as a food photographer, maybe for Canadian Living or Epicure or some such magazine!
My DD has a printout of your GELATO photo from Italy on her bulletin board at home - such a beautiful photo!
She was excited to hear there may be another bar she can try! I love Mars bars if they've been refrigerated or lightly frozen, even. Of course, I like the Dark Chocolate Mars Bar even better - I'll have to keep a lookout for the Peanut Logo on those too!

I'm so confused. I always though Mars Bars were full of peanuts - not just may contain, but actually loaded with peanuts.
I don't think I've eaten one in my life - even pre-allergy days.
Definitely looking for these. Caramel, nougat, and chocolate. Happy Anniversary to me.
