Hello, I just found your site about a week ago and after lurking for a while I decided to join.
My 3.5 year old daughter was just diagnosed with a peanut allergy. Her Rast was 16.2, Class 3. I am and have been a mess. I find it so hard to leave my house with her without being so nervous. I feel comfortable at home because I know she is safe, but as soon as we leave I feel the tension starting. Before the diagnosis I would have no problem stopping at Dunkin Donuts, Friendlys for Ice cream or dinner and even Texas Roadhouse for dinner (where the peanuts are everywhere)...and now we can't. My 6.5 dd is being so understanding but she just wants to get a donut or go for ice cream. Sorry for the rambling but I am still just trying to deal with this.
I have found this site so informative and have read all that I possibly can.
Thanks for listening and I look forward to getting to know you all.
