Hi everyone! I am new here, but DS, Ethan 20 months old, has been PA since Dec 2004. I was eating peanut butter toast and he wanted a taste, so of course I let him have a taste. Then 2 hours later, after he had gotten up from a nap I noticed that his ears were bright red. I did not think too much about it and we went out side to check the mail, when we came back inside I noticed that his face was red, I thought it was from being out side and it being so cold. I then looked at his back and he had hives all over. So I called a friend that is a nurse and asked her what she thought. She said prob an allergic reaction, So I freaked out and called DH to come home, he was at work. We took DS to a Pediatric Urgent care and they said it was a reaction. We took him to his dr the following mOnday and had blood test done. The dr we saw scared us, telling us that he could die and that he would not lead a normal life. We saw another dr that was awesome and eased our minds a great deal.

Eathan has been reaction free since then, but been around PN products alot.

Thanks for getting this far. I am glad that I have found this site!!
