Gwen 5, you're in America, aren't you? Anyway, in Canada, you can register your anaphylactic child with Anaphylaxis Canada. I'm not clear what registration really does -if it helps them gather stats or what, but I do know that I registered my PA son with them. Because of the registration, I now receive information from them via e-mail that is quite informative. Not the same extensive information and newsletter that I would receive if I were a member of Anaphylaxis Canada, but still some really *good* IMHO e-mails.
I'm wondering if FAAN has something similar in the U.S.?

Aside from PA.com and the information I find here, the other website that I really find quite useful (I know you asked for web articles) is www.nuconnexions.com One would think that I work for Steve (another PA.com member as well) because I do mention the site quite often but when I have a manufacturer question, it's the FIRST place I go after I've come here.

Hi Gwen,
I'm not aware of any national registry for PN/TN's. Perhaps someday FAAN or someone else will move in this direction, especially once FALCPA legislation is passed.
You've probably already done this, but my posts from last spring/summer include links to articles we used to support our 504 planning process. For this year, I also pulled the excellent post from Lovey in this thread http://uumor.pair.com/nutalle2/peanutallergy/Forum8/HTML/000724.html
so I was in a position to comment on the recent AAAAI study in case it came up in discussion.
Suggest reviewing the Media thread from the past year (it's also on my To Do list)...I know that Momma2boys and I were particularly active in posting Media stuff this past year

I thought there was a peanut registry thru faan? I remember filling something out for each of my children when they were diagnosed in 2000. I'll see if I can find it.

I also filled out paperwork regarding the FAAN Registry for TN & PN allergies some years ago and never heard back from them.
I believe they were going to mail out the results but due to an overwhelming response to their registry, it took a lot of time to compile the results.
Has anyone heard from them that completed their questionnaire for the registry?
